Creating tech start-up rockstars with GetJar

When we first started working with GetJar back in 2009, they were a small start-up run by incredibly ambitious senior executives working out of their kitchens.

Since then, we’ve worked to make them the ‘rock stars’ of the tech start-up scene and they’re often cited as one of Europe’s most successful start-ups. To hear more about how GetJar became superstars, read on.

Social media and students

It’s hard to imagine a world without social media. The modern world strives to make everyday tasks that little bit easier, and seemingly this applies to socialising too.

With a string of £1million deals, everything this girl has done really has been for a price. Rumours suggest a £30million worth, so how will her publication benefit her financially aside from complete narcissism, one wonders.

Digital ABCs show room for growth. A lot of it

Posted by Adrian August 23 2011 09:15am

Last week, the latest ABC figures were released, revealing circulation figures for the consumer magazine sector. While the publishing industry has been racing to ‘digitise’ their magazine titles, the ABCs paint an interesting picture about the current state of play. Joe McDonagh, Komodo’s intern from Manchester Metropolitan, takes a closer look.
