Posted by Adrian June 12 2009 12:28pm

Those of you who have read our Twitter guide written by our social media guru Daniel Twigg will know the story about how Dell made $1m by promoting sales on Twitter. Well the latest news is that they’ve now made $3m in sales out of their Twitter feed. Blimey! A great success story about a company who managed to make Twitter work for them. Now to solve the question about how to make Twitter make a profit for its founders *cough*.

If you’d like to join the flock of 620,000 Twitterers who are waiting for Dell’s next sales announcement, follow them here.

Thanks David Muir for the pic.

Is it $3m through Twitter as Silcon Alley Insider and Reuters claim http://tinyurl.com/kvyedj or $2m as Mashable claims http://tinyurl.com/lq4tsm -think Mashable figure is just based on soley @delloutlet account – confusing headlines but hey what’s a $ millon between friends?
