Norway’s superstar designer wows London’s fashionistas

Through our work with our client, the Norwegian Embassy in UK, Komodo is able to delve deep into the rich world of arts and culture – and this week was no exception. On Monday night the reptiles attended the London Fashion Week show of one of Norway’s most loved designers, Kristian Aadnevik, which was held at the Norwegian Ambassador’s residence in Kensington. We were simply blown away by his collection, which featured feathered and leathered dresses to die for!
Prior to the show, Komodo organised a live Facebook chat from Kristian’s studio where he joined his legions of fans on our client’s Facebook page to talk about his inspiration, trends and the wonderful world of fashion. more

Helen Holland and Jonathan Simnett are currently in New Delhi.
After the customary crawl through the ever-increasing New Delhi traffic one comes across Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. A latter-day Indian Fleet Street, it contains the head offices of Indian national newspapers and a fair smattering of leading trade magazines.
There we met M.K. Venu, managing editor of India’s Financial Express. MK is a big man with an engaging smile and a shock of greying hair – a big personality and big ideas. Ebullient and highly articulate, and just back from an extended trip to China, he is typical of the new breed of worldly, confident outgoing Indian that are driving the astounding rate of growth in the subcontinent’s economy. more
